With a mission to provide youth with affordable and stable housing, practical life skills and an identifiable support system to propel them towards their future goals. Youth Empowerment Success Services (YESS4Youth) wants to bring people together to raise awareness of youth who are aging out of the foster care system, while still maintaining social distancing. That’s why this year’s annual 5k Foster Care Walk/Run is virtual, this social distancing 5K is designed to raise awareness of youth aging out of foster care and to bring the community together during Foster Care Awareness Month.

- Register (It only costs $35, and you get a T-shirt!)*
- Sign-up to help raise funds for youth aging out of foster care using the online fundraising portal
- Use an app like RunKeeper to map out a 5K run in your neighborhood, park, etc.
- On Saturday, May 30th, join us live on Facebook for our opening ceremonies at 8:30 AM
- Run your 5K any time between 8:30 AM and 2:00 PM
- Follow all CDC guidelines for Social Distancing
- Upload your race map and time to social media, tag Youth Empowerment Success Services (make sure your post is public), and use the hashtag #YESS4Youth
- Closing ceremonies will be live on Facebook at 2:30 PM
